Single Page Applications - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Barnaby takes a look at the different frameworks currently being used to build large scale single page applications. In this talk he weighs up the problems they're trying to solve and what they still don't manage to solve. He'll also be looking at some 'state of the art' usage of popular frameworks.

Barnaby is a developer at Parallax, a digital agency based in Leeds. Starting in mechanical engineering, he developed an award-winning rehabilitation toolkit for the Microsoft Kinect, and subsequently made a slightly unorthodox move in to web development. He is an experienced public speaker, having presented his work in at conferences in London and the USA, and enjoys nothing more than a nice RESTful API.
