As part of an ongoing series where we ask industry professionals what they use to get the job done, we speak to Claire, a Design Director at Intermarketing Agency.
I'm Claire Bradley, a Design Director at Intermarketing Agency in Leeds. Whether through branding, art direction, print or experiential, I create and shape brands, design stuff that makes a connection... and that hopefully looks great too!
My setup at work is the same as at home. I design on a 27" retina iMac with a Wacom tablet. I like to work off the biggest screen possible. At home, as well as the Wacom, I have a Bluetooth Apple Magic Trackpad for better scrolling online.
I also have a 15" MacBook Pro with a Bluetooth Magic Mouse at home which I use for meetings or working on the train, and an iPad mini.
The latest addition is some wireless Sony headphones, which I don't think I could live without now.
Mostly Adobe CC, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Bridge. I also use Sketch and SketchUp when needed. And Spotify — can't work without it.
The dream is to have my own personal fully converted creative space. It would have a desk that runs the entire length — space for all my hardware at one end and a screen printing setup at the other. The walls would be full to the brim of design books and cool prints. And, if I had an outbuilding big enough for a vintage letterpress, that would make my life complete!
My 27" iMac. I've tried working off a laptop, it just doesn't work for me.
Thanks Claire!
