As part of an ongoing series where we ask industry professionals what they use to get the job done, we speak to Adam, Director and Cinematographer at BlackBox.
I'm a director and cinematographer at BlackBox in Leeds. I head up the film side of the business where we create Narrative Films, Documentaries, Commercials, and Music Videos.
Camera wise I use BlackMagic. I use all their range for different applications but my Main A cam is the URSA mini 4.6k. On bigger productions I will hire in RED or an ALEXA depending on the demands of the job. I edit on a 5k iMac with a second screen for Colour Grading.
I edit in Adobe Premiere, Colour Grade in Davinci Resolve and do VFX in Adobe After Effects & Photoshop.
